Magic 106.7 - Magic has been a top-3 station in Boston for 25 years. For their promos, they asked for speed and rhythm while maintaining their strong Soft Rock brand.

WBOS

where music comes first

WBOS - in its prime, WBOS was Boston's AAA station, and therefore catered to an affluent audience of educated music lovers. The station combined old classics with up-and-coming artists and their branding had to reflect this.

your music without the work

Slacker - Überblend created the start-up package for the ?Today's Hits? channel of this new internet radio experience. The challenge was to communicate the customizable nature of the channel while maintaining CHR energy and feel.

WERS

music for the independent mind

WERS 88.9 — Überblend co-created, and produced, the audio branding for the number one college radio station in the United States. WERS' position to be the music radio choice for NPR listeners had to be clearly communicated. Überblend still consults the station on its audio branding efforts.

FM1 — for more than 10 years, Überblend has been involved with this AC station in Switzerland and helped to grow its cume nearly 50%. Today we produce and voice most of their promos.

Michael Stuber Owner / Audio Designer
Michael Stuber has been involved in radio branding for more than a decade. Prior to founding Überblend, he was Imaging Director at Greater Media Boston, working for Magic 106.7, 92.9 WBOS and 96.9 WTKK. Originally from Switzerland, Stuber has a successful track record as a programmer and programming consultant in his native country.


Alden Fertig Audio Designer
Alden Fertig holds a B.A. in Audio / Radio and an M.A. in Management and Organizational Communication from Emerson College in Boston. After completing his degree he was Operations Manager of Emerson's award-winning radio station, WERS-FM. He then worked at United Stations Radio Network before joining Überblend in 2008. In addition to his radio experience, Alden is a music producer, DJ and recording engineer.
